hiʻo.lani vi. To sleep, lie at ease, lounge, relax (this word sometimes replaces moe in poetry because moe suggests the sleep of death). Ua kau ke keha i ka uluna, ua hiʻolani i ka moena (UL 130), the head rests on the pillow, stretching out on the mat [relax after work is done].
